
With more than 25 years of broadcast experience, Jeff Johnson brings the unique perspective of being at home both in front of and behind the camera. As a former anchor, reporter and producer, Jeff understands every facet of news—including what makes news and how it is made.
Jeff is a former television anchor and reporter for several CBS and ABC affiliates in the Midwest. In those roles, Jeff has covered state and national events, including the World Series and the NCAA Basketball Tournament. He has interviewed former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, football great Walter Payton, and baseball legend Bob Feller. Having written, produced, and edited for newscasts on a daily basis, Jeff knows the challenges of today’s media and how your message can best be delivered to its audience.
Behind the camera, Jeff is also an experienced producer and director of both live events and televised sporting events. During his 15 years on the production side, Jeff has produced and directed for the Kansas City Royals, Iowa State University, and the PGA Tour. In 2010, Jeff was honored with a regional Emmy award for his directing work with Mediacom Communications.
Jeff earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Iowa State University, and he minored in Psychology.
