The Night Ministry
The greater WPNT family was once again out on the night time streets of Chicago in the second quarter as part of its long time support of The Night Ministry. The team brought and served hot soup and bread, often the only daily meal of the vulnerable youth and adults who come to the mobile ministry each night. The Night Ministry is a nonjudgmental “ministry of presence” created out of diverse religious traditions. The supportive relationships that The Night Ministry builds and the provision of housing, health, outreach, and social services brings dignity, confidence and a foundation for self-empowerment for people to meet their own needs. WPNT also provided financial support during this non-profit’s annual benefit.
