WPNT's nuclear expertise is grounded in first-hand experience with nearly one quarter of the nation's commercial nuclear power plants. We have designed and implemented a multitude of plans, programs, and training seminars for 23 nuclear power plants. We've provided crisis communications strategy and crisis communications training for spokespersons in preparation of Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and FEMA emergency drills, written media guides, and developed customized lesson plans for corporate communications professionals to use in the training of colleagues. By law companies are required by the NRC and FEMA to prove that they have ability to communicate effectively with their publics in the event of an emergency. WPNT training programs help them do just that. In fact, many of the highest ranked plants in this country are clients of WPNT.

WPNT also assists many of these companies with stakeholder outreach. We provide training not only to company spokespersons, but also to local emergency responders, state and regulatory representatives that also are members of the crisis communications response team including local and state officials, elected officials, regulatory agencies and federal personnel.
