SECOND QUARTER 2004 HIGHLIGHTS
An emphasis on communications "readiness" was a
hallmark of the second quarter for WPNT Ltd. The third quarter begins
with a similar focus with clients leveraging communications to support
and drive their business goals.

WPNT wrapped the last of its continuing Executive
Presentation Skills programs for a specialty executive recruitment
firm. Partners from around the country have traveled to
Chicago to participate in this intensive, customized private
label program.

In an ongoing effort to sharpen it mobilization
and decision-making skills, WPNT assisted the general office
crisis team of a leading consumer brands company during
a facilitated crisis drill. Approximately 70 team members from
multiple business units and functions participated in the full-day
exercise. A simulation cell, pre-produced news reports and a
debriefing were part of the program conducted in Cincinnati.

In preparation for the opening speech of his
trade association's annual meeting, WPNT provided Executive
Communications Coaching to the CEO of a multi-billion dollar
tourism & recreation industry based in Denver. The gathering was held in Aspen, Colorado. |

Engineers from the research arm of a global
telecommunications giant were prepped for media interviews
with trade press and general media in anticipation of the WiCon
and NextFest conferences held in Amsterdam and San Francisco
respectively. WPNT conducted three programs outside Chicago and Ft. Lauderdale. |

Corporate communications managers of a Wisconsin-based global manufacturer underwent an intensive WPNT Executive
Media Training program. A WPNT Press Corps member simulated
print interviews and filed actual stories to provide immediate
feedback to the participants. |

More than 60 plant, quality and human resources
managers from U.S. and Caribbean manufacturing facilities participated
in a threat & communications training program hosted by this
worldwide healthcare products maker and conducted by
WPNT. Four, concurrent facilitated drills took place, each centered
around a hypothetical scenario engaging various stakeholders
and adversaries. The program was conducted near Chicago. |

Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Venezuela and the U.S. attended an Executive
Speech-coaching program in Dallas. The one-day session emphasized the skills needed
to effectively cope with tough, emotional or hostile questions.

treatment alternatives for Parkinson's disease underwent a day
of media training in San Francisco. The researchers anticipate national media attention associated
with a potential medical breakthrough. |

data to non-technical executives in a private workshop in Dallas. |

The difference between "Crisis Leadership"
and crisis management was the focus of a presentation by WPNT's
Ray Thompson at the Retail Industry Leaders Association conference in Dallas. Approximately
200 executives from Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Target and other
retailers attended. Former Montgomery County Police Chief Charles
Moose - lead investigator in the DC sniper shootings - also
addressed the conference. |

Enhancing stakeholder dialogue was
the focus of an on-camera session in Houston for a senior executive from an international
organization. The executive led a first ever meeting with
a group of influential non-government organizations (NGOs) in
London. |

A one- and one-half day WPNT workshop
in Anchorage helped a multinational
company strengthen its ability to interact with local communities
in the event of a crisis. The on-camera training included a
customized crisis scenario involving simulated town hall meetings,
discussions with tribal elders, and private briefings for elected
officials. |
