In addition to the following, WixtedPopeNora & Associates provided strategy and training to a number of CEOs and presidents preparing for network and cable television interviews.

Strategies and techniques for communicating effectively with investors, communities and other important stakeholders was the focus of presentation training conducted in Bermuda for a communications network provider aiming to bring high speed Internet access to Australia from North America via a 29,000 kilometer ocean floor cable. The network is expected to be operational this fall.
The leadership team of a national home products manufacturer participated in a day and a half WPN executive media training program in Portland. A Los Angeles-based member of WPN's Press Corps assisted in the afternoon.
In preparation for the rollout of a new Internet-based product for teachers and high school students, WPN provided executive media training to half a dozen executives of a well-known educational media company in Chicago.
Management teams from four sites of a specialty chemical maker participated in a presentation and media relations program designed and conducted by WPN in the Philadelphia area. The program was built around the on-going importance of enhancing dialogue between the manufacturer and stakeholders.
Members of a leading insurer's catastrophe team participated in a WPN basic crisis communications training program conducted in the Chicago area. A focus of the training was to communicate more effectively and sensitively with policy holders through the media in times of need.
As part of the launch of its new pet drug, WPN conducted communications and media training in Santa Barbara, California for members of the drug makers' national tour. The tour travels to pet expos around the country and is a grass roots effort to educate dog and cat owners about this new topical, all-in-one parasite drug.
Almost two dozen county officials in Pennsylvania participated in a full day WPN crisis communications training program including township managers, police and fire chiefs, emergency management coordinators and public information officers. The program featured a customized hypothetical scenario involving a catastrophic event resulting in highway closures followed by intense media scrutiny.
WPN returned to London to assist senior executives of international energy concern with a full day of New Media Training. The participants were instructed in the nuances of webcasting, as well as how to both facilitate and present during the programs.
WPN has been retained by a leading oil and gas company, to assist with issues management, communications training, crisis response, community outreach and media relations as the corporation addresses public affairs issues at two major U.S. locations.
