As it continues to dominate this sector worldwide, and while increasing its support of high visibility causes, leaders of the Latin American division of this direct sales beauty and cosmetics giant met in Monterrey, Mexico for a day of WPNT Executive Media Training. A WPNT Press Corps member, who is an Emmy Award winner in Spanish-simulcasting, assisted in conducting and translating interviews. |

WPNT provided Issues Management Training to a global, Midwest-based tool manufacturer in advance of a scheduled union vote at one of its U.S. operations. Four plant leaders underwent a day of training on conducting employee meetings and media interviews. The company prevailed with employees defeating the election for labor representation. This same client also retained WPNT again in 2005 for 24-hour standby crisis communications support for the eighth consecutive year. |
| |
About a dozen corporate communicators from Europe, Latin American and Australia convened in Chicago for a Threat Management & Communications Workshop conducted by WPNT. At the conclusion of the program, one participant remarked, "This was well worth traveling 22,000 miles." |
| |
As part of a continuing Executive Communications Coaching series for a leading international airline, WPNT teamed with another agency to provide media training to three other senior executives. Principals of the two firms also traveled to company locations around the country to observe previously trained executives in real-time settings and provide written critique. |

Thirty two country managers and senior executives from Angola, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Nigeria, Norway, Spain, The Netherlands, and the United Kingdom gathered in Brussels in December for a series of Executive Speech Coaching programs led by WPNT's Ray Thompson.
