FOURTH QUARTER 2005 HIGHLIGHTS
As a busy year winds down, we pause to express gratitude to those who have entrusted us with their business. For the second time, WPNT was tapped to provide expertise to a leading telecommunications company for its global crisis exercise. The eight-hour simulation included all management levels and measured business continuity efforts involving customers, suppliers, employees, regulators, and host governments. WPNT provided strategy, simulation cell development and coordination, hundreds of initial message injects, Simulator Corps, training and rehearsal, and a written analysis. More than 100 locations in all time zones and a thousand employees ‘played’ in responding to the hypothetical scenario. In addition, WPNT conducted a mock drill for the corporate crisis response team near Chicago in advance of the exercise. |

In anticipation of a plant closing, WPNT provide Issues Management Training to a Fortune 20 health products company. The closure involved a 32-year old North Carolina manufacturing facility and a hundred employees. The communication of the closure was praised by employees, local news media and the division president. |

The chief of this global business consulting firm’s Midwestern office called upon WPNT to provide Executive Presentation Training & Speech Coaching. The program focused on streamlining preparation efforts and enhancing the messenger during regularly scheduled consultant and staff meetings. |

In advance of the program a strategy session was held to identify key message themes and areas of investor interest. The program itself included a full-length simulated analyst call and abbreviated follow up session by phone. The private, on-camera session in Houston gave the executive an opportunity to refine his presentation skills and respond to simulated questions. An Advanced Media Training program for one of the leading companies in Texas was conducted by WPNT Partner Stephanie Nora and Alison Freeman. Freeman leads WPNT’s growing presence in Dallas. The challenging, full-day session featured two newly added WPNT Associates in Dallas with decades of news reporting experience. On-camera exercises include TV talk shows, talk radio, print interviews by phone and satellite media interviews. |
