SECOND QUARTER 2008 HIGHLIGHTS
Challenged by the price of oil and an uncertain economy, more than ever, organizations are seeking
maximum value for services they receive. Further, they are looking to maximize the effectiveness
of their internal and external communications to support their business goals.

To that end, WPNT was in London and Hong Kong in the second quarter to assist a financial services firm with Executive Presentation Training. The weeklong programs included both group and private sessions to improve participants' skills with internal and financial audiences. Participants traveled from throughout Europe including Spain, France, Italy, Germany, and the United Kingdom, as well as Singapore, Melbourne, Beijing and Tokyo in Asia Pacific to attend.

As they begin a 12-week internship at this Midwest-based science & technology company, M.B.A. interns from Harvard, the University of Chicago and the Haas School of Business underwent WPNT's Executive Presentation Training program. The fifteen aspiring executives will receive additional communications coaching from WPNT this summer, in advance of their midterm and final presentations to senior leadership.

In anticipation of a major shakeup to its membership and funding base, WPNT prepped leadership of this leading recreational lobbying /marketing association during an Issues Management & Executive Media Training program. The program was conducted in Denver in conjunction with Peeples Ink.

Newly elected bishops from throughout the country participated in a WPNT's Issues Management & Executive Media Training program near Chicago. A team of five WPNT trainers and Press Corps implemented a multi-phase scenario to which the bishops developed strategy and responded throughout the course of the day. Each bishop is responsible for synods of more than 100 Lutheran churches and tens of thousands of congregants, usually across a large geographic area. |

Thriving in the digital marketplace and monetizing media were topics of speaking assignments on which WPNT assisted executives of this global business consulting concern. The participants either led or were panelists for leading high tech conferences. The Executive Communications Coaching programs was conducted in Chicago and San Francisco.

As part of its mentoring and grooming of emerging talent, WPNT assisted this well-known executive search firm with Executive Presentation Skills training outside Chicago.

Intended to be the premier information resource, the Nora Institute for Surgical Patient Safety was officially launched under the aegis of the American College of Surgeons. The NI is intended to be a valuable tool for surgeons, policymakers, patients and other stakeholders concerned about quality of surgical patient care. Dr. Paul Nora is the founder.
