As an added service to our clients, WPNT is pleased to announce the re-launch of its website, www.wpntcommunications.com. The enhanced website now offers a secure area for clients wishing to refresh skills taught in previous programs. The site also allows new and continuing training participants to access and complete pre-training materials.

Patient advocates for the Genetic Alliance, an international coalition of 300 consumer and health organizations prepared for a national press briefing at the New York Academy of Sciences. Participants gained increased confidence in sharing their personal stories in media interviews during a WPNT media awareness program in New York.
Moving from a regulated monopoly to an unregulated, competitive arena is the focus of on-going strategy, media and presentation training programs for a U.S.-based multi-national energy company. The company is in the process of increasing its profile nationally and globally. The programs have included senior officers of the corporation. A similar program was conducted for the company's European business unit, utilizing a member of WPNT's London-based Press Corps, formerly of the BBC.
Also in London, WPNT provided executive speech coaching in its on-going relationship with a leading global oil & gas industry B2B online marketplace.
Improved communication with senior management and international air partners was underscored during an executive presentation training program for a major airline. Managers of the network management division participated in the full day program conducted outside Chicago covering topics such as pricing and traffic analysis.
In advance of its statewide giving ad campaign, the Nature Conservancy tapped WPNT for media awareness training in Boulder, Colorado. The Conservancy's executive team, including the state director, project managers, and science staff participated. The ad campaign is being seen in print and television.
A highly customized program for plant emergencies took place over a day and a half at a national manufacturer's Sioux Center, Iowa plant. The crisis communications program designed specifically for plant leadership included a hypothetical scenario and WPNT's Press Corps.
Technology's impact on talent management and recruitment was addressed during media training for senior executives of a global healthcare concern's e-business and human resources disciplines. The intensive program was conducted by WPNT outside Chicago.
The Iowa State Bar Association is bringing together legal, medical, judicial, treatment and social services experts to tackle the issue of domestic violence and has tapped WPNT to assist with event planning and media relations. The day-long symposium held in Des Moines in May will focus on strengthening prevention, intervention and education efforts in the state.
